Sitting here writing this I think about the time when I wanted to learn how to beat Ninja Gaiden, which was a popular video game back in the early 90s. After school I could not wait to get home to bum rush my little brother, so I could play that game. I would get my memory card and insert it into my video game so I could start where I left off after playing it the night before. I mean night in night out, before school after school I would play this game.
Sometimes I would not even eat just so I could make it to the next level. See I was Persistent. Nothing could stop me from beating that game which was my ultimate goal. If I got stuck I played it until I figured out the computers pattern and it was game over , next level here I come. But BAM!! I hit a wall and a stage that seemed impossible for me to conquer.
No matter what I did I could not get pass this one particular level. I studied the computer patterns but I for some reason could not figure it out. Man I was depressed and down on my luck. See I felt defeated, I felt beat at something I knew I was the best in. I totally gave up and went on to play another game. But wait, I am back again to give it one more try which turned into one more try , that turned into one more try (WOW).
Dang Nabbit, I was persistent! There was no way I was going to let some computer defeat me in finishing this game. So I was at it again, non-stop this time. But guess what? My day came and I was victor. I finally defeated that stage and went on to beat the entire game. So let me ask, Are you persistence when it comes to your business and network marketing? When you hit a wall do you give up or do you fight through the pain, the no shows, the lack of leads and the skepticism and all the other obstacles that are put in your path?.
Do you let a little pain stop you from acquiring your dream? That’s something you might want to ask yourself the next time you come across some resistance in your life or business. Looking back I see how persistence played a big role in my life and it was worth ever minute of it. I always say anyone can give up but successful people are persistent. Check out this video and ask yourself and stay persistent!
