Why is personal development so important?
That is a question that so many people ask when they first start in our industry.The do not fully understand the importance of personal development and how it affects them and their business on a daily basis.
When joining any new business they often just teach you how you are to invite people to a presentation, how to close them but they never teach you how your mindset has to be in order for you to be a success. You must develop yourself personally in order to handle the day to day difficulties in you life. It is vitally important that if you are new this is a MUST for you, it will keep you from quitting your business.
When I first joined my company no one told me to work on myself first, no one told me how important it is to create a mindset of wealth and abundance before I even had those things. When I finally learned that was a process that I needed to incorporate into my daily method of operation I immediately saw a change in me and my business.
It is not that hard to do and it can be life altering and fun.
What actions are you exercising daily for your personal development growth in your particular niche?
Here are just a few tips you can use to start your personal development today!
1. Read for 15 min each morning and 15 min each night.
2. Meditate for 15 min each day.
3. Get on training calls
4. Turn your car into a drive time university
This is just a small list but it is a start. Make sure the books and audios that you listen to will teach you how to be a better person and how you can help other people.

As for personal development it is a passion of mine. I learned early on in this game that if your mental tools aren't sufficiently developed whatever you do physically won't matter much.

Personal development journey is difficult, especially when you go alone, so why not just use the help of a support group to give you a helping hand on the journey? It is not cheating, it is using what is available to you for success.

Wonderful Post Shawn, as we both know, personal development is the key to anyone’s success not only in network marketing, in everything they do. It is so true that you must do something each and everyday to keep yourself on track. When it gets right down to it, you are the most important person in your life and you need to nourish you (feed and water the soul) daily to become the you that you know you are.

Reading “My First Year In Network Marketing” was a big reason
why I still am involved in network marketing today.
That book was my first Personal Development piece.
So yes we may oppose it but its definately needed to
become the person who you need to become in to be succesfull
in life and in business.
